Day 2 and I'm off to a much better start than yesterday. I ate relatively well today (I heart Subway). I haven't been able to use my elliptical (and didn't when I could), so I decided to give it a shot today.
Rather than just going for awhile on one level I decided to try one of the programs. I picked one that looked the easiest, and made it 9/30 minutes. I never really did anything higher than 3. It started on 3, and kept going between 5, 6, & 7. I'm going to try and do it again, and at least go for 2 minutes longer. I know it's not much, but I don't want to discourage myself into quitting entirely.
Great job on the elliptical. I so remember when I first tried the elliptical, I could only hold out one minute, but then I began, like you, just adding a minute, now I can do a full hour, on resistance 5 and I keep the cross ramp going from 10 down to 6. Oh and I should add, I'm 56 years old and last year alone had a hip replaced and a knee replaced.
So hang in there Sweetie, you can do it, and your worth the effort.
