We have breaking news! SparkPeople member Melissa (URBANNENA) will appear on NBC's "Today" show this Monday, February 4! She is scheduled to appear at about 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

We hope that her fellow SparkPeople members can tune in, tell their friends, and support Melissa as she shares her amazing weight loss story (over 160 pounds gone!), and Spreads the Spark to millions of people throughout the country!

Feel free to leave a comment here to wish Melissa well as she prepares to head off to NYC and her television debut!

    Congratulations! I just watched the piece from the Today Show... You are an inspiration. I decided to loose weight after loss my sister to heart disease. Like you I have allot of weight to loose and I have recently hit a plateau and then gained 6 pounds. I am back on track, and then I seen your story. It is amazing how Sparkpeople brings the right encouragement and the right time... This time it was through you! Thank you for sharing your story!

Sparkpeople is the first website driven diet and xercise program I have "bought" into. I am very excited. Getting a new treadmill also helps motivate. Go get 'em girl!
