I had the WORST meeting of my life today. The WORST! All I could say is that it involved 2.2 million dollars, and it was downright scary. Fortunately, I had a coworker (doctor/attorney) with me, and we held our ground. It was like the inquisition.....not sure I love my new job!

In addition, I spent over 7 hours behind the wheel today...in pouring rain, with spin outs, fender benders everywhere....So did I eat when I got home? Not in real excess, but certainly "comfort food"

I will be co-leading a team for newbies. Scary. I feel so unworthy, so hypocritical. ...sigh....Yet, I also see it as an opportunity to let the newbies inspire, encourage me! Starting next week....

In a couple of weeks, I have an amazing annual luncheon on the calendar. A group of women, who for over 20 years, have met and toasted each others' past year's accomplishments, and who set goals for the upcoming year. Last year, I set the goal of doing a 5K by 01/01/08. HAH! Did THAT in April! And a 10K in May....so the goal for 2008? To do 1/2 Marathon! I had hoped to train to do one this March, but with injuries and illness, and finding out I will be traveling so much in the next month, not a good time....but I will sometime this year! guaranteed!
