Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the L-RD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let my foot slip—
He who watches over me will not slumber;

4 indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The L-RD watches over me—
the L-RD is my shade at my right hand;

6 the sun will not harm me by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The L-RD will keep me from all harm—
He will watch over my life;

8 the L-RD will watch over my coming and going
both now and forevermore.

The things of the past months; Angie's murder, our sickness, stress from my ex-husband, ALL are under the control of the L-rd. This morning I can say, I am looking up to the hills of Mount Zion, I am looking up to the L-rd. He is faithful in everything. I will always miss Angie. We will continue to get better physically. As long as I continue to love the L-rd I can say, "It is Well With My Soul."

    Ruth , You have been through it lately. Me too.

It came to me today. I know my redeemer lives ! I am so glad that He has taken my life and made it something beautiful. Even through all the suffering, He lives ! That alone makes me want to shout and dance.
You are such a great asset to the team. The scripture you palce in front of us is always so applicable.

Hang on ! He sees us ! We are in the palm of His unfailing hand!
So many prayers for you dear sister~

  I love your blue page...it is a delight to see the star. I don't know who was murdered...but my cousin was beaten to death by her husband...and murder makes you cry for a long time...I am sorry. I recently received advise from David Bliss a missionary from South Africa...praise in all things...a book called Power in Praise by Merlin Carothers. It seemed odd to praise some of the difficulties I had lately...and sometimes I just couldn't...but when I could the Lord blessed me!Your page inspired me to look up the Jewish Calendar on the computer and look for the daily messages and beliefs. I understand so little of the Jewish faith and wondered why as a Christian that should be! We are studying Esther now in CBS and that helps some. I am in Los Angeles in the winter and South Dakota in the summer two extremes...the fire in Malibu burned my church down. Please keep writing.

    This is so great. I just studied that Psalms yesterday. I am doing the Beth Moore study, "Stepping Up". It is about the Psalms of Ascent. I have read it many times but doing the exercises she wants opened up so much.

    Amen and amen - we are not promised an easy journey but OH what an incredible destination. I also love this Psalm - we are supposed to be ascending aren't we? Like the final book in the Narnia series - further in and further up. Bless you and keep letting Him carry the heaviest parts - we were never designed to carry burdens alone.
