Indulging Myself & Loving It!!!!!

Wednesday, January 23, 2008

So today has been a mixed bag of happiness. I went out to find some work out clothes but came home with as new wardrobe of street clothes. Which I'm okay with. The search for work out clothes will continue in the next day or two. Anyway none of my "normal clothes" fit me well basically at all so I went to Old Navy and fell upon their 50% of clearance sale and I bought a ton of stuff for less than 50 bucks...It was sweet!!!! After ward i ended up going to dinner at a buffet place and indulged myself quite a lot. But I figure I cannot be perfect every day. What kind of life would that be. I don't want to end up being scared to eat something because "it will make me fat again." I just have to make sure it doesn't become a nasty habit. Plus I balanced it out with that fact that I did some strength training today.

So overall all I'm proud of myself because:
I lost 1.75 lbs this week
I found really cute clothes on the cheap! (in a smaller size ..woohoo!!)
I was able to moderate my portion sizes of dessert at the buffet place
And that I actually focused on strength training today (I need to work on this so I'm proud that I made myself do it today)

Oh and one more thing... A few post back (about 6 or so) I mentioned that I bought the cutest jacket ever (back in mid November) but in a size I couldn't quite fit in yet....WELL....I tried it on and it fits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made my goal of being able to wear it before my Birthday which is in a week!!! I'm so stoked.. I'm wearing it in the pic above ^ I obviously took this pic in the bathroom mirror so sorry about the bad quality
