Thought from January 15:
Patience is the key to paradise.
- Turkish proverb
Whether waiting to see a change on the scale, dealing with your coworkers, or diligently putting in work and feeling unappreciated, losing your patience is very easy to do. By exercising patience with all people, you are allowing them to become better and to learn on their own through gentle guidance. One healthy byproduct of self control in the face of frustration is that it usually leads to encouragement and enhancement of your relationships.
Thought from January 16:
Celebrate we will, because life is short but sweet for certain.

Learning to seize the day when you've been a long time planner is quite difficult... but it's something I've learned over the last few years. I've learned to enjoy the fun that can come from a sudden, unexpected, drop what you're doing trip to a friend's or a shopping trip with friends. Living in the moment has taught me to enjoy every day for what it is. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
Thought from January 17:
If you chase two rabbits, both will escape.

Being specific when setting goals is a key. Finding and focusing on goals is key, too. If you try to serve two masters, you'll have difficulty really serving either one. Trying to focus on two things all the time can be really draining, which is why I've learned to tackle one thing at a time. It's working much better for me and I'm feeling much less stressed.
