Well, I joined SparkPeople because a girl here in town mentioned that she found it the other day and really liked it. Not one to pass by any way to log progress, nutrition and fitness habits without a pencil and grid paper, I looked into it. Nice.
I've been working out M-F since October with 2 other girls in town and needed to make a change. They too need to lose weight and like working out but dont push themselves in the way that I do and NEED to do for myself. The basic workouts that we have been doing just dont give me a good cardio workout, no matter how hard I push so I changed my routine this month.
Beginning in January, I added 1 mile of running before every M-F workout and then Endurance runs on Saturday and Sunday. This week has been a bit hectic but starting on 1/20 I am changing again to 30 min runs before the workout, at least 45 min of 'cardio' tapes and then crunches on alternate days. I really like the Spark Fitness program that they helped me create and the idea that I can track my cardio better and with more detail is fantastic to me.
My Fitness program is Cardio Thursday-Tuesday, with Wednesdays off (I have a college class that I just started. This may change as I get more into a system with the class). I Strength Train Monday, Thursday and Saturday but again, this just changed with the addition of a college class. hopefully next week I can be better able to workout before my class.
