Injury setback

I admit I wasn't as careful as I should have been during the holidays...I started out well, but then we moved to a new house and my routine got out of control, and I just never quite got it back together. Then a long vacation added to it, and I'm just now getting it back together. Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle about a week ago, and I can't really do cardio until it heals. It's really difficult for me to lose weight without cardio, so I'm feeling a little frustrated and down as a result. I'm just going to try to focus on drinking lots of water and eating well and letting my ankle heal, but it's hard to be patient!

    you'll get back on track. we all have setbacks. if there is anything else you can do that doesn't impact your legs? For instance, swimming (maybe you need your ankle for this, i don't know?) or that arm cycling machine or the rowing machine (as long as you only press off from the one leg)? If those aren't good options, no biggie, take it easy and you'll get back on track when you are ready. Enjoy the time off and you'll be refreshed and ready to get back into the swing of things when it's time.
