Ok...I hopped on the scale this morning to find that after eating my way through this past week I ganed a few pounds. DUH! Did I think that I could eat ALL of the homemade chocolate chip cookies that the kids and I made and not have any consquences? The beauty of this is that I have it under control. I cant gain back all the weight I lost in one week, and the kids and I had so much fun making and eating those cookies, that I would gladly sacrifice a few pounds! The plan is this...have an on track day...go to the gym for a spinning class and bust my butt doing some housework and make healthy choices and I have a feeling those pesky little pounds will melt right off after a few days on track. Oh - and I am going to try logging my food journel online instead of my notebook...maybe that will help too. I only ever track points, not calories or fat so I am interested to see how much I really consume on a regular day. On that note...I am going to go grab a bottle of water and fol d some laundry before the kids wake up so we can hit the ground running!
