EH HMMM.... i did it!

I am so excited and I had to blog this so I can mark this day and never forget it! Today was weigh in day. I was nervous because i was so close to hitting 199, but yesterday did not work out as planned and i felt i was lazy most of the day, and not too careful about what i ate. The gym had been closed due to the storm and that put me down.
So imagine my surprise this morning when i hopped on the scale and saw 199! It took my breath away, so i did it again, and again! after the third time i did not want to press my luck so I happily accepted it!
I do know how easy it could be to pop back over 200 so this is no time to slack. I went to the gym this morning (however had to dig my car out because the plow had barricaded me in and I hurt my back) but managed to get in my workout. the elliptical and treadmill were fine on my back but when it came time to stretch, sit on the floor and stretch, it killed! right in my lower back. This happens and i try to be careful, but i wasn't concentrating on my posture as i lifted the heavy shovel full of snow and twisted to throw it. i did what i could to stretch and knew i had to strength train. which i did, but i took it easy and did not push myself too much. i am hurting right now sitting in this chair so after this i am going to go lay down.
I'm so excited the 200's are gone! i'm still close at 199 but i will do what i can to make sure i NEVER see the 200's again! lol.
I restarted my commitment to this healthy lifestyle on september 19th, and do date I have lost 37 pounds. My next mile stone of course is only 3 pounds away!

    I chuckled about you getting on and off the scale three times.....I did that when I hit my goal....thinking there must be something wrong with the scale....

    CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUCCESS!!! :) I experienced this amazing milestone JUST LAST WEEK!!! :D hehehehe so I am SO WITH YOU on this 199 thing. :D Last week I really buckled down, no fooling around, because I wanted Monday (the OFFICIAL weigh-in) to be OFFICIALLY below 200. So today was 198! :D WOOHOO!! So keep up the great work -- you'll make it!

    Thats awesome about the 199 on scale and you should celebrate its fantastic. As for your back do try to take it easy. Next time you go to the gym if they have a hot tub take advantage of it and let yourself relax. I hope your back feels better soon.
