You don't have to be sitting in the dark with a candle to be meditating... that walk you described is a good way to get meditating. It sounds like that is a great stress releiver for you.

You know we can't always do things about the events in our lives that cause us stress. But, we can change our attitudes about them, sometimes that's all that we can change.

I agree with Nicole. Take time out for yourself to enjoy a walk, book, or absolutely nothing (my favorite). This time a year is stressful for most people, others don't even know they are under stress. The next thing you know you wonder what you were stressed about or why? Remember take one day at a time. You will survive.

We all stress, I've been told I'd worry if I had no worries, lol... A walk helps me, a book, a bath, good music, playing with my kids, sometimes a nap... it is a matter os trying things and seeing what works for you. I am able to talk to my spouse about everything and that really makes a difference... if you are not, try to begin that or write it down in a journal/ letter/ whatever .
