Our first winter's snowfall has graced our countryside this morning and try as I may to wince over the cold and discomfort which the winter brings, I am entranced all over again as I get started on my treadmill in the dark and watch the sun gradually reveal lawns, tree limbs, phone wires...everything beautifully covered with the lightest, fluffiest snow.

What a delightful beginning to winter!
