Well, I'm finally there. It's been about 14 months, and I have lost 100 pounds. It's a relief to be able to finally say that I've reached this milestone. Of course, the work is not done.
172 is my original goal. 10 more pounds. It seems unreal that I can be so close now. Even though the goal is within reach, I am still a bit dissatisfied. I look at my stomach, hips, and thighs and am disappointed that they are not smaller (or less jiggly). Only 10 pounds isn't going to make that much difference. But regardless, I'm going to keep walking and doing strength exercises, hoping that time will help to firm things up. Depending on how I look, I might continue on to 164. We'll see...
I am actually looking forward to seeing the doctor next week. I am hoping for significant improvement in my blood sugar and other tests. And a really nice "atta-girl" from the doctor would be fun.
Tonight I am going to have snow crab for dinner, my absolute favorite food. No butter or any added stuff. Just me and a pile of crabby legs.
