Everyone says that this weight loss thing is not an exact science, and man is that an understatement. This week, the week that I skipped half of my workouts, and guiltily raided a bag of Halloween chocolates so often I was worried there may not be enough left to actually give to the kids next week, I lost four pounds.
Now, for full disclosure I should mention that I have a crappy old analog scale that went out of adjustment *twice* this week, but even if part of the loss was an "illusion" created by a crappy scale, that should still only account for a pound or so.
Here's hoping it's not just a fluke and that I won't bounce right back up to 180 again by next weekend!
