Health Insurance Woes

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

We finally heard back from the insurance assistance my husband and I were trying to get now that I'm pregnant. Apparently the amazing overtime my husband was able to put in awhile ago to help us pay bills screwed us out of assistance. it slowly put his average income too high, so they aren't going to cover us.

I've looked at health insurance quotes and they are SO high, huge monthly payments, huge deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance! I couldn't stop crying yesterday, and this morning I woke up feeling sick to my stomach.

I haven't had morning sickness yet, and this morning it didn't really feel like that. It felt more like heartache-sickness. If anyone knows what I mean by that!

I still went to the gym today, I was able to do about 30 minutes on the elliptical, but my mind was racing the whole time. And all I want is a GIANT PIECE OF CAKE!

I'm so sorry you're having trouble with medical stuff when your pregnancy should be a happy time! Were you trying to get on Oregon Health plan? I don't have insurance either.

Sounds like it's time to do something good for yourself and I don't mean chocolate cause we all know unffortuantely it's only temporary. Maybe go to the library and pick up some fun new work out tapes? Hope you feel better, all is not lost there is always a light
