Hard to get back on schedule.

Well, we've been home from our wonderful holiday for 2 weeks now and I'm finding it very hard to get back into my routine.

It doesn't help that I have a cold so even though I exercised last week I haven't been doing anything this week! No excuses for the food side of things though, I just haven't been tracking or even really paying attention to what I'm eating. ARGH!

Monday is going to be Day #1 of starting everything all over again. Here it is for everyone to read!

Exercise 5 times per week:
- bike (while I still can)
- elliptical
- dvds
Strength training 2 times per week:
- I have tons of dvds with programs - use them!
- do some things at work like squats and wall pushups
- track everything!
- watch snacking - especially at work
- better portion control
- water!

    I'm glad to be back!

    The bike thing is definitely related to the temperature and the light. Right now at 6:30am it's dark and it's about 3C so I'm pretty much done for morning rides. If it's nice for a bit longer I could probably go right after work or on weekends until the snow flies!

    Cheers to that! I think I'm doing the best I have since I moved, but I can't tell because the scale is just bobbing around and I don't have time to track properly, lol. I'd really like to buckle down and focus. Monday it is! I'm right there with you. (Just be sure to remind me so I don't get distracted, LOL!) I like your list. How long until you can't bike anymore? What stops you, rain? Snow? I've biked in the rain (but it's Vancouver, so of course I have, lol) and I don't really like it, but I'll do it. Gotta get to work somehow! I'm going to try again tonight to get my elliptical brought out here to my new place... I hope it fits! I'm jealous that you've got yours on your list there. Enjoy it! Have a great week... I will try to post a lot more than I did last week. I'm so glad you're back!
