New Pedometer

So glad to have the new pedometer arrive this week! Need to get it set, but I'm so ready to get back to counting steps. This had been a major factor in me losing weight before I got to the current standstill that I'm in right now.

    The school district that I work in started a new wellness initiative for employees this year. At our annual convocation they gave each of us a pedometer. We're not required to wear them, but I think it's probably encouraged since they did this. I've been wearing mine every day (except weekends). It's great because others will ask about it, so I'll explain what it is and why I wear it. Basically I just say that as I'm trying to become healthier, I want to make sure that I'm staying as active as I should. I try for 10000 steps each day, often I've noticed I fall short. While I thought that I was very active, I'm really just moderately active. So I try to walk around more, and get my steps higher each day - and that's got to be good for the body.
