wow, lets see....6.a.m. pumped and ready for my 4 mile walk! except today is the beginning of a new challenge for myself. :) he he. I will start running! a slow jog alternating with walking. I'm not a runner, never have been. :) but it's something i've always wanted to be. I don't need to run any marathons, i just want to run! so today I started off with the recommended slow jog/walk. I thought it best for me to walk 2 min, then jog 1and made myself do that for 4 miles :) I thought several times of stopping, i was tired, my shins hurt, i was out of breath, but not only did i force myself to push through, i made it count. all i could here was the dude in my core sectrets video saying over and over, make it count! don't be passive! some people tend to throw their bodies around while exercising, I used to be one of them! but why waste your time and effort if your not going to do it right? right? :) so i stood up tall, payed attention to the way my feet hit the ground, and concentrated on my breathing, and tightening of my abs, i know they are in there somewhere i can feel them now. :) you just can't see them yet! SO i made it count!
I then came home, rested a bit, actually i stretched a lot! lol a few hours later i did my core secrets video, decided i'd try a different one. It was called abs assault! and let me tell you, it was exactly, my abs will definitely be killing me tomorrow! but no worries... it's all good! lol
I had kashi go lean oatmeal for breakfast, a grilled chix wrap for lunch, and yes, i baught the la tortilla factory kind! hmm, dinner, i have not yet had, but am going to in just a bit.. it's a lean cuisine, chicken and penne pasta. mmm. oh, plain, nonfat yogurt for snack, and also a fiber one bar, which i will switch to kashi go lean when i run out of these ones.
so, i'm happy! thrilled, i'm still going, i grow stronger each day !

  Great blog! Thanks for writing it. When I go for a walk, I have the urge to just break out in a run. Maybe I will next time, just for a bit. Thanks for sharing!
