Starting Over

As of today I'm gonna start over on this life change..I have been making bad choices with my food, not exercising, not drinking my water, not taking my vitiamins, i have just pretty much giveing up on this, i have been on this journey scence Nov. of 2006 and i have lost 13#'s & some quite-a-few inches(went from a size 20 to a 16) and i have just stopped there.. i guess i was thinking it would be easy like it was in 1997 when i went from 200#'s(sz.20) to 125(sz.10) in just 9 months, but i had the help of the phen-phen diet pil. This time I'm not useing any diet pills i'm trying to do it with just changing the way i eat and add exercise to my life...after reading quite-a-few blogs and post i have seen that it will take time, some say it has taking them 2 yrs. to get to there goal & they are still eating healthy and exercising, if some 60+yr. can do this then this 40+yr. should be able to do it also..i am younger than they are so what is my problem? I know i have thyroid problems but i have got to stop useing that as an excuse for everything i think i can't do or for what i don't want to do....NOW,TODAY, I START OVER....I WILL MAKE GOOD FOOD CHOICES, TAKE MY VIT.,DRINK MY WATER, & ADD EXERCISE TO EACH OF MY DAYS....

    Of course you can do it! And today is a great day to start! Don't trip over yourself trying to do it all at once. One step at a time is a perfect solution and before you know it, you're half way to your goal. Concentrate on one thing until you think you have that licked, then move on to the next. Each step is just as important as the next, so don't think you are going too slowly. There is no shame in going slowly, just don't stop. You've made a wise choice today, may many more follow!     Sarah & Scaraousel are right ! Babysteps work. I too started with one habit at a time. For eg. start with water one week, then add the multivitamin next week, & so on. Check out Sinestra's sparkpage intro for motivation...YOU CAN DO IT ! Also check out the "1000 actions challenge" on SP challenges forum, you will get the idea.

    Are you my twin. I have done the same thing. Start off doing great choices and being so motivated. Well then somewhere I slowed down and then somewhere I stopped and I hate it. I feel guilty over the way I lost focus. I think we BOTH can start over and correct what we messed up. Im with you.

    You can do it you really can! i Don't know if you ever watch the Biggest Loser, but there was an excellent line on the show this week. SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE. I MAY BE THE LAST TURTLE OVER THE FINISH LINE, BUT I'M GOING TO LOOK GOOD IN MY SHELL! Keep on keepin' on!
