Changing

Changes are the first thing we look for on your weight loss journeys. We look for the scale numbers to go down, the tape measure to pull tighter, our collar bones to show, the rippes in our muscles to be able to be felt. We are always looking for the proof that our plan is working. But, there are other changes happening. These changes have nothing to do with our bodies and everything to do with our worlds.

As you lose weight and become more fit, you start to see yourself differently. You become that person you always wanted to be. I remember always wanting to be an athlete. I would yearn for the love of running and the muscles that would emerge from weights. One day I realzed I WAS an athlete. My heart rate at rest is in the low 40's, my body fat is around 22%. I may weigh more than others my height but I have alot of muscle and then there is the skin. However, the changes to my inner self are just as obvious now. I am confident, I look people in the eye, I am treated better by strangers. I no longer "wish" I could get into a specific size. My weight loss has become secondary to my new life.

Losing weight is a lifelong task. By changing your body, you will change who you are. You will live in a brand new world.
