I'm a little frustrated. A perfect week in terms of nutrition and fitness, but only half a pound down. I know better than to get too hung up on the scale number, but it still bugs. There, I feel better now!
You are doing super!! I remember all that awesome encouragement you were giving me back when I was losing .5 every two weeks!! (that rate varies!) As you said, it is still a loss. Further, by losing it slowly you are more likely to keep it off.
You are doing everything right. For me, to get through it and stay motivated, I incorporate a day here or there where I get to eat more than usual but w/in moderation. That way I never feel deprived and I relax more when it's time to go to the scale. I think it even helps the scale by boosting my metabolism. I call them maintenance days. :)
Be in the now, enjoy how you feel right now, love who you are right in this moment as you are now... good health will follow! Besides, it could also have been a little too much sodium the night before and it will be off tomorrow. No worries! 3417 days ago
