Yesterday was a very long day; it was a 120 mile round trip to the oral surgeons office and back. My left hip starting hurting last night, and still hurts now, I think from sitting for so long. I am used to getting up and moving at least every half hour even if it's a day I'm staying home when I don't feel good. They took about 4-5 different xrays, the good news is that there are no problems, no evidence of any bone damage in my jaw.
The trip back home was so long; Mom and I grabbed some food from McDonald's to eat in the car, we didn't have time for a sit down lunch anywhere, and I had to eat before I ended up with a headache. I had a Quarter pounder without cheese and a fruit and yogurt parfait. The city we were in is quite large, we had to go down on of the long busy streets when people were starting to get out of work, it was bumper to bumper traffic.
I still had to work when we got back home. It was almost 5:30pm by the time I got to work, I was 2 1/2 hours late. I had to work til 10pm and get groceries after work so I was tired after I got home, but I was able to get some good sleep.
It was still hard to get up this morning, I could have slept longer, but I had a doctor appointment. I saw my oncologist today and everything is fine, my tumor markers are going down again. I had my Zometa today and so far have not developed a headache like I had on my previous ones, but I am feeling very sleepy. I also had my Faslodex shot today.
