So tell me what’s more important? So many diet choices out there... low carb, high protein, Leto, low fat, etc. isn’t it just as important to eat less calories a day then you burn? What’s everyone’s thoughts on this? I am staying on track with my daily calorie goals and not eating junk. Small changes gradually. Not truly a diet, but a lifestyle change. I mean after all isn’t your “diet” just what you eat?

I use the calorie range and personal my plan according to my likes and dislikes. Planning ahead is what's working for me.

Not all calories are created equal. If you stay in range and eat junk food, your body will tell you it's hungry all the time. Eating quality food, with a good balance of fat/protein/carbs makes a big difference. I'm currently following the 'Always Hungry?' plan, which is higher fat, and slow carbs - so far it's going pretty well.

Yes. All true. Each of us have to decide what we put into our bodies. For some, medical diagnoses drive the plan, for others personal preferences. Best is the plan you can live with for a lifetime that also meets all your nutritional needs without causing excess. Good luck.
