"In order to change we must be sick and tired of being sick and tired." (Author Unknown)
Hello my lovely friends!
I have been sick this week and the last thing I want to do is cook dinner. However, chicken soup is the gold medal thing to eat when you are sick. It is simple to make, you just have to throw in a few things, and in an hour, you have chicken soup.
Simple Chicken Soup
What you need:
Rotisserie chicken, shred it just to have the meat
2 celery stalk, chopped
2 carrots, peeled & chopped
1 can of mushrooms
garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. Fresh or dried rosemary
1 cup of egg noodles
1. In soup pot add your chicken broth, garlic, and rosemary. You're going to bring that to a boil.
2. Throw in your egg noodles and cook them according to the package. Halfway through put your carrots and celery in there. Let those cook for a few minutes.
3. When your egg noodles and almost done put your can of mushrooms and shredded chicken in there. Let that go for about four three to four minutes.
That's it super simple, but it still has that comfort and the benefits to help you get better during this cold season. Depending on the size of soup pot you're using you can have this for a couple of days.
