The first step. Again!

Every journey begins with a first step. Except, it feels like I have taken this first step toward a healthy weight many times. I need to remind myself that it took many times before quitting smoking(about 11 years ago) I finally put out my last cigarette. So I know I can do this, and I also know if I stumble well, it just means I am that much closer to success 😃 this time my goal is to lose 70 lbs my heart goal is 85. So here is to first steps and second and thirds. And the journey 🍷

    I was reading (sorry can't remember the book title) that was research about mistakes and how the more we make the better we become. It's something about how the brain literally builds itself - when a mistake is made it builds a neuron (?) and then each time we continue working on it, it builds layers. So never think the past isn't going to help you!
