Week #1 of the Holidaze Challenge..and I lost. I found a salad combo that I really like, so I have been eating that with alot of grilled chicken for the majority of my lunches and dinners this week..and I lost weight! Now, if I could just get the energy and motivation to excercise - think what I could do!
Things will slow down after this week. I'll be back on my regular schedule at the bar - vacations, etc are over for now - so hopefully I will have more energy when I get home. Plus, I won't be tempted to eat the deep-fried goodies from the bar.
Tomorrow is the holiday-and I expect a pretty decent turnout for our cookout. Chicken & BBQ ribs (my favorite). I plan to enjoy ribs and a few beers (& a few other alcoholic treats!) but get back on track Thurs. I will make sure my water (actual water) intake for tomorrow is where it should be..and will try not to go over calories too bad! I think I'll be able to manage to avoid the sweets and potato chips!
