So easy to still indulge... and what I am happy about

Will I ever be able to go to a social gathering and not indulge in every delight? I wonder???

Tonight at art class I didn't even think about calories, had no clue and still don't. I didn't pig out just had one or two of everything including yummy desserts. Came home and tried to track it and was still way under on my calories because I got in 9 miles today but still feel defeated because I have been doing really well this week.

I am not necessarily complaining, just noticing. I will weigh in tomorrow as usual and might be up a pound because of sodium but I won't let it ruin my day because I feel fit!

So here is what I am happy about-

I got in lots of miles every day this week
I got in 3 strength traiing sessions this week, arms, legs, abs, chest and back
I stretched in the morning twice this week and my usual all body stretch at the nights
I ate in my calorie range every day this week
and lastly I am happy that I have a size 32 waist which is good I learned for a woman. I still have some fat around my waist but that's ok because I know my body will never be perfect and I am happy with who I am today!

I still have 20 pounds I would like to lose but if it doesn't happen that is ok too because losing 50 pounds and keeping it off is simply AMAZING!

    Thanks for such a positive post. I found myself smiling as I read your report.
    Sounds like you are mindful and being mindful for the majority of the time counts as a win in my book. Sometimes just "can't" be strict or controlled. Sounds like exercise is your "jam." It makes you feel good--and helps you look good--so that probably outweighs (lol) your slight indiscretion, which really wasn't.
