I have noticed that my weight loss slows way down when I do less elliptical work and more other cardio exercises, like biking and walking. Everytime I go back to doing mainly the elliptical, the weight just melts off! I was skeptical that it was really burning that many more calories because walking and biking seem like just as much work, but it really IS burning that many more calories and in fact I think it is burning more than SP says even. WOW. So in addition to rededicating myself to my diet, I am rededicating myself to my elliptical. If I hit a plateau, I may see if changing it up at that point has a different effect.
