If you don't fill your cup how can you fill anyone else's?

If you don't fill your cup how can you fill anyone else's? I speak with busy women (moms and artists especially) who tell me that they can't prioritize self care (eating well, moving, quiet time, spending time with things that inspire them) because they have no time. They are mom-ing and wife-ing, and boss-ing and sometimes they are doing all three and they can't keep up with a clean eating routine or 30 minutes for themselves each day. Listen friends, an empty vessel fills nothing. Sacrificing yourself on the altars of motherhood, business, and people pleasing does nothing for the people you are trying to serve. So burn your excuses on that altar instead, tell people what you need, set some boundaries, and fill your damn cup. You'll be a better because of it. Becca Robinson
