Slow and Steady Wins the Race

End of week six! A slow loss this week, too -- which makes it tough to stay motivated. I lost one pound and 1/2 an inch off my hips. It's still a loss, and most likely a healthy one -- I need to learn to not be let down by small losses; at least it's progress.

I felt much better after writing my last journal entry; it was cathartic. Jim and I talked a lot and I think as long as I communicate how I feel things will be better.....he can't make changes if he doesn't know anything is bothering me. I'm going to stay on track with this and try to look at the progress as "slow and steady wins the race." We'll see what the weather brings today; it looks like rain. If it does rain, I'll head to the gym and hit the treadmill. I'm also going to do about 15 minutes of ballet exercises and either yoga or pilates (probably pilates) for 30 minutes.
