Modified Running and Walking Intervals

I had decided to modified my running intervals. instead of running and walking a whole. I will run only 15 minutes (alternate 3 mins walk and 3 mins running for 15 mins), and walk the rest of the time for an hour.
I am just getting too tire. Running for 24/28 mins maybe too much for me. My goal is to eventually run straight for 3-4 miles each time.
