Countdown day 90..89.....77 --aiming at eventual 100% compliance with suggested eating plan

Thursday, September 04, 2014

Thur. September 4 Day 77 counting down to 0 for 90 days (3 months).

In 3 months time I am supposed to be eating according to the eating plan suggested to me
by ALCAT blood sensitivity testing.

It is a good thing I have 76 more days to get this right. emoticon

I have put the meals into my spark tracker for the next few days. I made a grocery list based on those menus.

Mostly I have the correct foods in the house. I just need to get fresh produce and a few things I have run out of.

I have not had real coffee in many days!

I am using almond milk, coconut milk for dairy. I am really hooked on dairy products. But my blood test showed sensitivities. Darn.

I bought a few flours made from grains other than wheat, rye, oats. And I have stocked up on the whole grains I am allowed.

Soon I will make pancakes from buckwheat and amaranth flour--or millet flour.

My meals have actually been pretty goo. You can see them in my food tracker.

I still have 76 more practice days to figure this out. Last month I tried eating "perfectly" right from day 1. I got really sick.

So I have been advised to go more slowly. But that is like telling an alcoholic to have just a little wine. I am struggling to stay on the eating plan now. It seemed easy (sort of) in the beginning. I just ate from the food list provided for each day (of 4). Now that I don't have top be perfect yet--well I am eating too much for one thing!

It's so hard to change eating habits, but you've got a great plan backing you up!!

It's not easy cutting out the foods that we're told are good for us. For me, cutting out gluten means NO joint pain. It's worth it.

One day at a time!

I think that is why they give you 3 months to perfect your eating. Learn from you mistakes and grow into the right eating plan for you.

Just keep at it a dah-at-a-time like you're doing. You sound like you've got a pretty good handle on it. HUGS
