Day Two

Day two of my challenge to use my nutrition tracker for 3 days out of 7. Was good yesterday and used it all day, that meant running to the computer after eating any thing. I stayed in my calorie allotment for the day. I treated myself to some Skinny Cow low calorie chocolates candies and a 1/4 cup mixed nuts. I had some nice grilled fish and a medium size ear of white corn for dinner last night. I do not remember what I had for breakfast and lunch so it is good that I also keep a food journal too.

I have tracked what I have eaten today and written it down in my food journal too. For breakfast I went out to fast food Mexican food but only ate half of what I ordered. I ate one beef taco, 2 bites of a beef burrito and 1/2 order french fries. I have not had beef in a long time and find that I don't like it anymore.

I have some fresh mustard greens planned for dinner. I am also making BQ chicken and will end the meal with watermelon. This is my idea of comfort foods. I have not had BQ chicken in a while and am really looking forward to it. It is premade chicken that I just have to warm up. This meal is a real treat for my hubby too and I am looking forward to his enjoying it.

I had two lime refreshers at Starbucks for my 10 am snack and am not hungry for lunch. I know it is not a good idea to skip a meal so think I will have some raw vegetables and ranch dressing. I will track this and every other bite of food that goes in to my mouth today and one more day at least of my challenge.

  Good For You! I find it is so educating and informative to really track everything you eat. I know it can be a pain, but it definately keeps you more on track and more self aware!
