Back to School----And a small slip back to the 220's :(

Back to School.....Back to Routine......Back to---sweltering heat??? Back to the 220's, which I thought I had said goodbye to FOREVER???

Well, after a very good day with my crew yesterday, I had a very disappointing weigh-in this morning. Not surprising, if you had seen what I ate yesterday.

After almost a week of no morning walks (I maintained my afternoon walks), I hit the road again this morning after my smalls left for the bus stop. Friends, it was BRUTAL. And it's only 7:49. But, alas, had to be done.

Alright friends, here's the question I warned you about--what are your September goals? Look at it this way: There are 4 months left in 2014. What can we do to end the year on the healthiest note possible? What needs to change in our lives? What habits have we established over the summer that we need to continue? What habits did we start at the beginning of the summer, yet have sort of let slide in the last month or so?

We can do this!!! We NEED to do this!!! Our health depends on it, and because of that, our families, our friends, and the things that God has called us to do depend upon it.

So, what are your goals? Big or small. Drink more water? Walk around the block once a day? Quit smoking? Stop drinking sodas? Take an exercise class? Set a Bible reading goal? Attend a fall Bible Study?

Let's Do This! I'm not giving up on any of you---you don't give up on me!! Or yourself!

    After being unemployed for several months, I am starting a temp position today.

    My goal would be figuring out a strategy to fit SparkPeople & exercise consistently into a work routine.

    I know that's the challenge everyone faces (unless they're retired), but it will be new to me. Thanks for the blog -- I agree that I'm doing it for myself, for my family & for the future that God holds for me.
