Yesterday I jogged on the mini-tramp for 23 minutes, listening to rocknroll (Jethro Tull). This morning, I mini-tramped to David Bowie, and stopped after the 5th song -- 23 minutes. Huh! 23 is my son's birthdate. 23 is Jose Uribe's jersey number (we referred to The Boy as Uribe during my pregnancy, and were delighted when he was born on that date).
Enough of the Universe teasing me today.
I took the day off from work. I slept in. I tramped (gotta figure out a name for the mini-tramp. I want it to be my new best friend). Santana, who was quite afraid of MT the first time she saw us, thought that it was more interesting yesterday, and climbed on it with me today as I was jogging. She didn't stay on very long, but it was pretty silly when she was there.
Today's plans include a trip to PetSmart for more chew toys for The Girls (not including my daughter). Maybe a walk, depending on how hot it is. The bananas are looking pretty sad, so I may bake. I really want to finish one of the books that I have going. It's compelling, and I can't stand any of the characters. I want to move on to something happier and less creepy. No, I do not recommend FIngersmith as of this minute. We'll see how I feel when I finish it. I can't believe that OSF is actually producing it next spring. I just can't imagine it on stage (or, maybe I can, which is a bigger problem. And I know that we'll get tickets...)
My new best girlfriends are Ann Taylor, and her little sister, Loft. I get huge discount emails daily, and their sizing is consistent. I have been building my wardrobe little by little since I've lost this 50 pounds and have been sitting at this weight for a while. So, yesterday, I added a pair of jeans, a few tshirts, and a dress to my online purchases -- all at 50 - 60% off. Tshrts under $10. Jeans were about $17. Dress was $35. Can't beat it (except at my favorite Goodwill store in Ashland, OR!).
I haven't weighed myself lately. Last time I did, I was at 137. My goal is 135. I'm almost there. I think that Mini will bring me home!
Happy Labor Day, everyone! Relax, love, and Be Happy.
