Fall is my favorite time of the year:) I love all the colors and foods fall brings! You would never know it's fall by the temps we are going to have this week:) One last round of summer??
I found three interesting workout plans in my latest Muscle and Fitness For Hers one for each style of figure competition. I have no desire to enter this type of competition. I think the eating plan would be way too strict, but I love all the workouts that were published so I am going to give them a go:) Time for a change anyway as I was getting bored with my routine. With three plans, it sounds like I may be set for awhile:) I always tell people I am working with to give any plan 4-6 weeks. Looks like I have a a good 6 months planned:)
Blogging on Spark was a great way for me to hold myself accountable. I would frequently write about the way I was eating more just to take note of how I was feeling. Now I like posting tips that I am learning along the way with my training to help you guys out:) So each month, I'll post tips that I have learned or an update:) Teaching full time and working three part time jobs keep me plenty busy and I often feel out of the loop with my Spark friends.
So for September:
*TRX level 2 certification
*New fitness plan:) Today was legs....my fav!!! Lots of squats...also my favorite:)
*Tracking my mileage. 2500 is so close!!!
*Tracking calories. The school year is always stressful. Tracking helps me keep things in perspective:) I always eat within my calorie range, but am going to try focusing on macros this month. I have tried this in the past and failed miserably. Hoping this time around things will be different. The past three days have been ok. Been trying to up the carbs and lower the fat. Since I eat Paleo there are some contradictions with the meal plan that goes with the workout I am following, but I am going to go with the flow and live happy.
*Pizza night Friday!!! The background is one of my favs:) Sweet potato crust with all the veggies I can find:)
*Looking for a venus for a winter boot camp for all the teachers:) The summer's was such a hit, I want to do another!! Samples have already starting arriving!
