T-Minus 18, Full Cleanse Complete

Saturday, August 30, 2014

I'm declaring victory with 4 of 10 days complete. I may attempt the 10 day full smoothie cleanse again, but I think I'm ready to switch to the Whole 30. My husband will be happy to get fed again!

Even though I didn't go the full 10 days, the experience was a breakthrough for me. I have the mental fortitude to take the more difficult path and come out the victor when an internal debate over food ensues. Big, big win for me.

And today I shop for real food that's going on the grill!

emoticon Keep up the good work. Way to judge how far you want to take things, and make them work for you.

I'm glad that it was beneficial, but I bet it will be good getting back to actual food, LOL! Good luck on the whole 30!

Good for you, Brenda. I tried a complete cleanse once and lasted 3 days. It is extremely difficult. Nice to feel that you have control over the food, isn't it? Now onto your next challenge. emoticon

As Dr Fuhrman would say, "then it's done its job", on the purpose of a fast. I just watched Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead the other day and thought of you. Awesome results! Whole30 here we come! emoticon
