Moving Forward with September Goals

Is August done yet? I mean, really... please hurry and end already!

I am so ready for a new month and to just officially be done with August. August, I am officially breaking up with you!

I am moving forward and so not looking back to August. September is going to be a stellar month and I am ready for it. I am once again just focusing on my process goals. I see a lot of value in them. Just making simplistic behavior changes to support long term habits. I think that when those changes are in place and they are consistent the outcomes will take care of themselves. I am seeing the outcomes transpiring slowly. My scale weight is slowly (ever so slowly) coming down. I will take my measurements on Sunday and will see there, but there are smaller things that seem to eek their ways out.

So with that my process goals for September:

** Focus on the principles of Sane and Simple Nutrition (eat when hungry, stop when full; eat primarily natural foods; pay attention to how foods affect me AFTER I eat (the Fitbook is a stellar tool for this); prepare for domino foods

** Make a minimum of 30 minutes of movement my goal for exercise but I really want to take it to the next level with my lifting. Now that I am on the 2nd phase of New Rules and the kids are back in school, I want to go back to 3 days a week of lifting, spinning twice and yoga once. Focusing on keeping my NEAT activity up and getting in 10,000 steps a day

** Doign the Spark People Stress challenge to help me keep that in my brain

** Flylady daily flight plan

That's it. The thing is really, my primary goal is to realign my balance. These particular goals will help me with that. If I can make it a point to just focus on these simplistic things I think I can get my balance aligned again. Quit being so touchy and emotional.

So with that, bring it on September... I am ready for you!!!!!!!
