Numbers are down....

Had a doctor's appointment last week and found out that all my labs were great, even lost 5 lbs. He reduced my blood pressure medication... emoticon
But on the bad side , my blood sugar is too low and he encouraged me to eat more. emoticon But the right things. That is going to be very hard , because most days at work, I work right thru lunch or don't have time to eat. But now I pack a healthy snack and eat in between patients.
I also changed my diet plan to the diabetic plan , which seems to help, but at the end of the day I still have a lot of calories left.

WOW, it's great that the meds are starting to decrease. emoticon
Can't wait til mine do. and I understand the lows of your glucose. Bananas with peanut/cashew or almond butter would really, really be a great snack and maintain blood sugar levels. emoticon And as far as eating more, try to at least reach the lowest level amount of your calories allotted. emoticon

Sounds like you're doing great. Eating small amounts a little more often may be just what the doctor ordered for you.
