Walking across the country (virtual challenge UPDATE)

Sunday, August 24, 2014

As you may have read in a previous blogs my spark friend M-BRUNER told me she plans to "walk" from her house in Pleasant View (near Salt Lake City, UT) to my house in Murfreesboro, TN. She asked me how far it would be so I told her milage depends...if she is "walking" along I-70 W (1,751.87 miles) or I-80 W (1,755.57 miles)!

I liked this challenge so much I now plan to "walk" to her house as well! That said, my friend BONOLICIOUS2 also loved this whole virtual challenge idea so I have also decided that on my way out to Utah I will stop in Maryland to see her as well!

That said, we opted for the I-70W route because it was longer. Extra steps seemed like the more ambitious way to go! And now I have to make a detour in Baltimore, so when I hit 703.77 miles I will get to stop in and say hi to BONOLICIOUS2!!

As of yesterday M-BRUNER reported in that she has walked a 34.2 miles. That means she virtually standing in her daughter's front yard, so she is going to stop and say hello as well!

As of yesterday, I have walked 49.15 miles according to my Fit Bit. Looks like I may reach her house before she gets to mine!

If I make it your house, maybe I'll just keep going and go visit her. We could go to the ocean together!!! If anyone else wants to walk with us just let us know!!!!! emoticon
