Been back about a week from my vacation to NJ to see family and friends. Not much chance to exercise with so much to do and people to visit!! Exercise was a low priority for once! I squeezed in as much walking as I could but that doesn't burn calories like my stationary bike! Plus we were being taken out to eat nearly every day by one person or another - I mostly ate healthy and low cal but did enjoy an occasional splurge! My brother is the worst (or best) at finding something to tempt me - gotta love him, he certainly means well and often mails care packages to - mostly of stuff he thinks we can't get down here in Alabama!!
So I was told (ordered) to relax and enjoy the trip. I certainly enjoyed the trip, especially seeing family. I didn't go completely hog wild - it would have been easy!! I stayed MOSTLY close to the line.
Last weekend was supposed to be my weigh-in but it was too close to return and put it off till today. I gained 5 pounds. When I saw that and considered the low amount of exercise and all the eating out I said to myself "Not too bad. Definitely worth it!" Now I will just have to tighten the belt and work a little harder to work off the gain - shouldn't be a problem. I am not upset - certainly not happy but will NOT beat myself up about it!!
