Friday Truths

Friday, August 22, 2014

Apparently I trashed my youngest dd on the internet.... guess it's not safe to blog on SP and expect that only your friends will see it.

Spent couple days with my oldest dd and kept very busy. Went swimming today, met a lady whose had 29 surgeries for arthritis. At the pool, she claims swimming is what keeps her going, so just an additional motivator for me to get started...I always forget how much I love the water.

Been busy cooking and eating... didn't get to wedding, but I did get pics....even of my gkids who I haven't so much as seen a pic of in 2 years....poor kids growing up with no gparents in their lives, esp these kids cuz they have about 6 or 7 choices, but their parents have chosen to isolate them from family..... there, now that's trashing!!!!! but the TRUTH! and the truth hurts....

If only....! I wish our lives were less complicated. Is it because we automatically try to do things for others before we do for ourselves?

Thanks for the reminder about swimming. I always loved the water and really should get back to it.

That's too bad about the grandkids! I miss swimming too, used to have a pool, but it got too old, and had to tear it down, but I miss it! I think it's great exercise!

The way you wrote this cracked me up. I'll bet you have a great sense of humor. Your DD will get over it.
    Love your needlework
