My niece drowned my poor phone with a bottle of water so I'm not even able to go out today (I refuse to go out without a way to make an emergency call) but from taking out the garbage and jogging back I really do feel like new shoes, and furthermore actual running shoes, make a huge difference. I was getting pain within a few feet and I wasn't feeling that.

Pray that either my phone revives over the weekend (I have it sitting in rice) or that I can get a new one Monday. I don't like not having a phone. My poor cellie.....sigh. I don't try to destroy my tech.

My phone did come back to life thanks to sitting three days switched off in rice.

Me too. I hope when I plug it in again on Sunday it takes a charge and works fine.

It's an iPhone so I couldn't even remove the battery! Praying the rice trick will work anyway. And yes we are so dependent. It's my mobile bank, my mp3 player, my radio, my TV, my workout tracker....and of course my phone. We don't have a home phone so it's doubly frustrating not to have it too. It means I do not have a phone. My hubby has a phone and we'll be together all weekend so that'll be good. Today I have to hang around the computer to use hubby can contact me. I wanted to go running today but that was right out after the phone incident.

I hope your phone makes it....after I dropped mine in the toilet, it started repeatedly dial the last incoming phone call. I drove many people (mostly my husband) crazy for several days until I figured it out. It's amazing how dependent we've become on our tech devices...I love mine too!
