WHEN YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW TO DO

We have all experienced problems of some type. What are you going through? Discouragement, disappointments, disasters, health situations, wounded in relationships?

Don't give up. There is hope, even if you feel there is no hope at this moment. The most desperate time in my life, I was tempted to give up and say, I am tired of this, nothing is working. I had determined, OK this is it. No more. In moments of such despair, if no hope is given, we will give up. We need something to look forward to.

If there is not even have a glimpse of hope we can't move on.
Delayed hope makes one sick at heart, but a fulfilled longing is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12)

I had done everything I had heard of or was told, read every book, put everything into practice as much as I knew how for so long. Its over, the end. I had prayed every prayer. Then the Lord said “Just one more time.” I didn’t see why or how. It was all to no avail, I thought. But I said ‘OK’

When all looks hopeless, continue to do what you know is the right thing to do even if it doesn't look like its working. Keep on keeping on, for you don’t know what is just around the corner. Never give up.

As I continued to do what I knew to do, then, out of the blue, came a ray of hope.

Then in very subtle ways I began to see a change each day. It renewed my hope and strengthened me. Its darkest just before the dawn.

Sometimes we give up too soon and if we would have continued, at best the situation would have changed, or at the least, in our heart, the Lord would give the grace and peace to come through it in victory. Hope is a vehicle we must have to carry us to the next step - faith that changes things.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (Hebrew 11:1)

Daniel fasted and prayed 21 days but He didn’t see an answer.

Then an angel came from God and brought the answer. He told Daniel he heard him the FIRST day, but was prevented from coming. (Daniel 10:12) What if Daniel had given up too soon? He would not have received the answer he needed! When we get discouraged it causes us to give up before our breakthrough comes.

For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And WHEN YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING YOU COULD, you will be able to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:13)
