Still holding strong on food journal and eating & walking plan. I went to my Grandson's house for dinner tonight. He made a skinny version of Spaghetti Carbonara that was awesome. I was very careful of portion size (having extra vegetables on the side) and I even had enough calories left to have a small piece of Chocolate Cherry Cake for dessert. It is so liberating to lose the guilt from over-eating.
I have raised my goal for steps walked per day (just a little) and have managed to meet it every day so I feel really good about that. I still have a lot of swelling in the leg so prop it up and use ice several times a day but feel like it's getting easier and much less painful to walk so am really making progress.
I am truly back on track right now and am so proud! Again, I thank all my Spark Friends for their support and encouragement and am so glad to have all the Spark resources to lean on for ideas to help my progress.
