Problem Solved & Friend's Doc Appt on Sept 8

Saturday, August 16, 2014

Well, thanks to some advice by sparkfriends, I resolved that awful problem that was obstructing my use of this site. Thanks, pals.

My friend has received his referral to a neurologist although his doc still insists its only anxiety and to take those pills. Nope, it's not anxiety but there are some mighty strong egos in that field that insist you do as they say. Now my friend is worried that they won't be able to find the problem since they have it already in his file that it's just anxiety. But at least they'll run tests to find out.

We are now in the really roasty temp season in San Diego, with the worst drought in 40 years. Of course, they are using this as an excuse to put a $7M water initiative on the next ballot that - when researched further - will do little to help avert water shortages but give them more money to waste. CA is an example of how a once golden state can lose its shine in just a decade or two.

Wishing all a fun weekend.

A couple years ago I was having troubles with pop-ups on this site that would follow the cursor, hi-jacking my use, and I e-mailed Spark tech support about them. Their solution? Install ad-blocker software. I was already using Firefox because of a virus problem with Explorer, so I just used the Firefox download. I've seen very few ads since - only ones that are embedded on the site (any site). It's greatly improved my browsing experience... I hope that you have the same luck.

Have a great day and a great week!

So glad the issues with this site have been resolved.
It is difficult to pursue issues when you have to navigate the medical system. sometimes you spend all that money for testing and still do not have answers.

It's got to be hard to be so dry with all that water in the ocean nearby.

That is sad that your friend did not get an answer after going to the neurologist.

I'm so delighted that some one in our SP family was able to help you alleviate your problem! Now, you won't get those headaches and can stay with us, as long as you want!

YES! You friend got his referral to a neurologist! Tell him not to be concerned about what's in his record or what the other doctor said. The new doctor will draw his/her own conclusions, after examining him and doing some tests. I do believe this new doctor will get to the root of the problem!

It doesn't matter what state we're in, because all of them have wasted money in some way, shape, or form, and then when it goes bad, they raise taxes to try and fix what they shouldn't have been messing with in the first place.

I'm glad you got your problem resolved.

I think the neurologist will run the correct tests - they want to make sure something isn't missed. You will have to let us know how this is resolved. I'm interested to know what his problem is.

I once thought about moving to the southwest but when I checked out the water situation it was dismal. It's a major problem when you are using more water than you can replace.
