Update on me

Friday, August 15, 2014

After a month and a half of water therapy and a month with the boot and insert in shoe. There was no improvement in my foot. I am waiting on a call from the podiatrist to see whether he will do surgery or not on me. I am praying for God to work on him while I wait for the answer. I can't keep living in pain anymore. I wake up and the foot is stiff like plywood and very sore. I rest it and it stiffens right back up.

I may be sensitive because of the week, but when you say you can't live with the pain it concerns me. I share the sentiments of others and truly hope and pray that this burden is lifted from you, but if it is not and you feel you can't bear it you should talk to a professional. Physical ailments have a BIG impact on quality of life, but there are many resources to help cope so please don't give up.

How long have you been dealing with the plantar fasciitis? My husband has dealt with it a lot over the years, but thankfully for "relatively" short periods at a time. I understand that it CAN last 10-12 months and 90% of people will still resolve without surgery, and surgery generally leaves scar tissue which can be a bigger problem.

The link below has some good information to consider...

    Phoenix,

I'm so sorry that you're not any better. I don't understand why the doctors don't seem to want to listen to the patient. We know our bodies better than they do, as we live in them each and every day. It makes no sense! The surgery should have been done long ago, in my opinion. I pray that God will work on him, too. If not, find another doctor!

Blessings!
