I find that when my heart is not in something
I'll usually not commit to it . . . . I say, I will try.
But when I REALLY want something,
I will put my heart into it . . . and I say, I will DO it.
This occurred to me the other day when I heard myself say "I'll try . . ." and I knew it would be a half-hearted attempt, if that.
The thought came to me that if it was something I really wanted to do, I would get it done. No question about it.
For example, if I saw a great big hairy monster in my path, I WOULD get out of its way.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
There would be NO hesitation.
I would NOT have to think about it.
It would be done.
And I would exert as much energy and agility as necessary to make it happen.
So, today as we face our monsters . . . let us set our intentions not simply to TRY, but let's really DO it!
