OMG, I made it a whole week without any cheating!
I did everything I set out to do for the WHOLE week: drink 10 glasses of water. Exercise daily. Take my vitamins. Track EVERYTHING. Be active on Spark. Get in 15,000 steps.
AND, I lost 7 pounds the first week. Now admittedly, I was coming off a monster two-day binge so I was full of water weight and bloat. But still. 7 pounds.
Now the goal is to keep it going! One day at a time!
Yesterday was a good day. We did a 75-minute Tabata class, which definitely deserves to be its own Circle of H3LL. It was SO hard and I am a mass of sore muscles today.
I am taking today as a rest day. It is hard for me to take rest days but at age 60 I know they are a necessity. Tomorrow we are planning to do another long walk/jog so today my body needs a break!
Here's what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast: two fried eggs, 1 turkey sausage link, 2 cups honeydew
Lunch: 2 medium apples with 2 tbl. almond butter
Dinner: 3 1/2 oz. chicken breast; kale/spinach/mushroom/onion saute; 6 oz. sweet potato with cinnamon, 1 tbl. coconut, and 1 tsp. ghee
Snack: 1 oz. cashews
Total calories: 1,385
