Three words....

Thursday, August 14, 2014

Here I am at the airport with my cute husband. It will be a lot of sitting today, so we parked ourselves at the gate and Reese guarded our stuff while I walked the airport. Need to off set all the sitting!

As I walked as briskly as I could, darting in and out of the crowds, I saw a woman with a bright smile. "YOU GO GIRL" she called out as we passed, and I was just barely able to have time to thank her.

So I will thank her again here. Thank you for being a cheerleader for me today! You brightened my morning and helped me believe more strongly in myself. I decided to smile more and say good morning to those I could make eye contact with after that encounter. People resounded with smiles and good mornings.

So to all you sparksters out there I say "YOU GO GIRL.... or GUY!!!" We can do this, and it's easer and better when we help each other.

GO JUDY!!!

How good of you to spread goodwill wherever you go! I think we would all be surprised to know what a difference it makes. Sounds cliche but it's really true that just one person can make a difference. Just one person walking around smiling and looking energetic might lift the spirits of all the tired travelers in whatever concourse you're hiking! Have a great trip!

I guess I didn't realize you were going on vacation!?!

We too take turns "walking" the airport. On our next trip we have a total of 13 hours of layovers! (yuck) And what about that airport food? I get so stressed and bored I WANT to eat all the junk but I can hardly bear to spend the super-inflated prices. But you have done great, YOU GO GIRL!
